Attention all tournament chess players! There is a new Chess Event sponsored by the Southeast New England Chess Association. SENECA has procured one of the best chess tournament locations in the state of Rhode Island for the first time in several years. The 2019 PROVIDENCE WINTER SWISS is scheduled for Saturday February 9, 2019 at Providence College. With a large ballroom with spacious tables, onsite Dunkin Donuts, a great cafeteria with a huge menu and ample parking, this event promises to be one you will not want to miss. The prize structure is $1300 Based on 50 players. Sections are OPEN, U1900, U1500. There will also be a scholastic section. For details and registration go to:
